First District Veterans of Foreign Wars and Ladies Auxiliary fall meetings will be hosted by Kenyon VFW Post No. 141. Both meetings will begin at 1 p.m. at Conrad Osthum VFW Post Home in Kenyon. Lunch will be served prior to and after both meetings.

Prairie Seed Collecting at Chester Woods Park will begin at 1 p.m. Meet at the Chester Woods Park gatehouse, and then drive to the selected prairie site for the day. Dress for walking through prairie vegetation on uneven ground. For all ages.
