Two 14-year-old Rochester boys could face robbery charges after being accused of robbing and kicking a 14-year-old girl about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Rochester Police Lt. Dan Muyres.
They’re at Many Rivers Detention Center and likely will be charged in juvenile court.
The victim was walking with a friend in the 400 block of 14th Street Southeast when some youths came out of the apartment and yelled at them to stop. The friend fled on his bike, but the girl was unable to get away.
She told police that a group of 7 boys came out, knocked her to the ground, kicked her and took her backpack. Someone called police, who arrested two of the youths who fled. She didn’t require medical treatment.
