Temperatures soared into the mid 70s across central and southern Minnesota on a summer-like November day. But parts of the state could see snow showers before the week is out.
The National Weather Service says Redwood Falls reached 78 degrees on Monday. The Twin Cities peaked at 74, tying a record high set in 1978, while Hutchinson got to 73 and Alexandria reached 72.
Northern Minnesota saw temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
The warm weather will remain into Wednesday. But the weather service says there’s a chance of snow showers in eastern Minnesota on Saturday. Highs that day will be more seasonable, ranging from the mid 30s to mid 40s.
