The full text of RCTC President Leslie McClellon's email to the "RCTC community" late Wednesday afternoon, obtained by the Post-Bulletin:
Last Wednesday I announced the appointment of Dr. Anthony Brown as RCTC’s Interim Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
However, I spoke to Dr. Brown today, and at the conclusion of our conversation, he withdrew his acceptance of the offer. We will continue our search for this vital position.
I appreciate the hard work of the search team and look forward to filling this position as soon as possible. RCTC is embarking on many exciting endeavors including HLC accreditation, strategic planning and academic master planning. This is a historic year for the College and we are eager to pursue all the opportunities ahead of us.
I will keep you all informed as to the status of the search.
