The Second Amendment became part of the U.S. Constitution in 1791 and reads as follows:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Even if militia refers to individuals, the arms at that time (1791) were musket loaders. Automatic weapons and automobiles did not exist then! Why is it so difficult for some supposedly educated people to accept the evolutionary facts?
If it is against the U.S. Constitution to register automatic weapons, then it is also against the law to register automobiles because neither existed at that time. So let us all continue to support the right to have musket loaders.
