Rochester police are searching for a man who entered a church Sunday and took money from the pastor's purse.
According to Lt. Dan Muyres, the pastor at First Baptist Church, 415 16th St. S.W., had returned from lunch about noon and found a man sitting at her desk, going through her purse. He took $75, Muyres said. Others at the church were unable to stop the man as he ran from the building.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 29 and 31 years old with a shaved head. He was wearing a gray T-shirt and blue carpenter jeans, Muyres said.
