The Rochester Athletic Club will be hosting a group of top boys and girls tennis players this weekend from Manitoba who will take on top players from the RAC.
Twelve Manitoba players were selected for the event, as they train for the 2009 Canada Summer Games.
Minnesota state Class A girls singles champion Alexa Palen and state Class A boys champion Ben Kopecky will be among RAC players represented. Other RAC players will include Eric Frueh, Thomas Nath, Kelsey Frechette, Emilie Renault, Connor Rust, Joey Minear, Robert Turlington, Ingrid Neel, Max Edwards, John Juhn, Alex Olsen, Ross Haller, Thomas Benzio, Kate Rosenow, Michael Poeschla, Jessica Edwards, Paige Becher and Marika Pitot.
Play begins at noon Saturday and continues through Sunday morning.
