Kids Triathlon May 31
Rochester Hy-Vee Stores and Hormel Foods will host the Hy-Vee/Hormel Foods Kids Triathlon at Willow Creek Middle School beginning at 9 a.m. May 31.
The triathlon is open to children ages 7-14, who will compete in a swim, bike and run competition. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up and medals will be given to all participants.
Joining the festivities will be Jarrod Shoemaker, a professional triathlete and member of the 2008 Olympic Team. The event will also include an opening and closing ceremony, Hormel Foods sampling booths and Hy-Vee cooking demonstrations, giveaways, and other activities for children.
