Twins launch TV, radio spots

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins are launching a series of television and radio commercials featuring the tagline "Let's Play Ball," capitalizing on the team's survival over threatened closure by major league owners.

The TV campaign depicts Twins players Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Koskie and Brad Radke in their homes. Mientkiewicz, Torii Hunter and Eric Milton are the featured players in the radio spots.

The campaign will last just through February and be followed by a return of the "Get to Know 'Em" campaign, which the Twins used last year.
