RED WING — Longtime Red Wing City Council member Jerry Cook announced he will not run for re-election this fall.
Cook is in his fourth term and has served for 14 years. He originally ran for office to address the rental inspection issue in the city, which remains largely unresolved.
Council member Carol Duff also said recently that she won't run for re-election. She's completing her first term but said she will continue to bring "issues before the community for discussion."
