Two Rochester streets will be closed temporarily beginning Monday.
The northbound lanes in the 200 block of North Broadway will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday for repair of the Dakota, Minnesota &; Eastern Railroad spur line. The tracks were damaged when a combine partially fell off a semitrailer Wednesday.
Northbound traffic will be detoured east on East Center Street, then north on Civic Center Drive Northeast and then west on Civic Center Drive Northeast to North Broadway. Southbound traffic will not be affected by the closure.
The other closure involves the Technology Drive Northwest connection to West Circle Drive Northwest. The street will be closed so crews can reconstruct it in a different alignment to serve a new development. It will be closed at least until the end of November.
