U.S. 52 ramps will close for construction

A number of street closures and lane restrictions are planned for the Rochester area as the U.S. 52 project moves forward.

The northbound U.S. 52 off-ramp to 19th Street Northwest is scheduled to close today to facilitate construction. Northbound 52 traffic wishing to access 19th Street Northwest will follow a detour on eastbound Civic Center Drive to 11th Avenue Northwest to Assisi Drive Northwest to 19th Street Northwest.

Northbound U.S. 52 traffic will be switched to the new northbound U.S. 52 pavement between 19th Street Northwest and 55th Street Northwest.

Beginning Monday and continuing for one year, the northbound U.S. 52 ramp to eastbound Civic Center Drive will be closed to facilitate construction. Northbound U.S. 52 traffic wishing to access eastbound Civic Center Drive will follow a detour on westbound 19th Street Northwest to southbound on the West Frontage Road to eastbound on Seventh Street Northwest to southbound on 11th Avenue Northwest to Civic Center Drive. This closure was originally scheduled for Friday.

Beginning Tuesday and continuing for one year, the northbound U.S. 52 loop to westbound Civic Center Drive/U.S. 14 West will be closed to facilitate construction. Northbound U.S. 52 traffic wishing to access westbound Civic Center Drive/U.S. 14 West will follow a detour on westbound 16th Street Southwest to County Road 22 to westbound U.S. 14 West.

Also scheduled for Tuesday and continuing for one year, the westbound Civic Center Drive ramp to northbound U.S. 52 will be closed in order to facilitate construction. Westbound Civic Center Drive traffic wishing to access northbound U.S. 52 will follow a detour on westbound U.S. 14 West to northbound on County Road 22 to northbound on U.S. 52.
