A 20-year-old Rochester woman is hospitalized after being left at a church Monday by two men.
Police Capt. Jim Pittenger said officers arrived at Peace United Church of Christ, 1503 Second Ave. N.E., about 9 a.m. to find an unconscious woman who was having trouble breathing.
She was admitted to the critical care unit at Saint Marys Hospital. Pittenger said doctors said the woman was suffering a drug overdose. The drug or drugs involved are unknown at this time.
Pittenger said authorities are investigating to determine why the woman was left at the church. One witness reported seeing an older white car come into the church's driveway. The witness said two men took the woman out of the car and left.
Pittenger said doctors have been able to revive the woman. No condition report was available this morning.
