Vehicle crashes into Salon Nouvo on Rochester's Wellner Drive NE

Officers suspect the female driver accidentally put her foot down on the accelerator, causing the incident.

Rochester police and fire were called to Salon Nouvo on Wellner Drive Northeast around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday for a vehicle that crashed into the front of the building.

No one was injured in the incident. Structural damage was done to the front of the building and the front of the vehicle as well, which was then towed away.

Rochester Police Sgt. Tony Teal said he suspects the female driver accidentally hit the accelerator while attempting to park the vehicle, causing the crash.
