The 56-year-old Stewartville man who was killed Tuesday in an accident at U.S. 52 and Salem Road Southwest has been identified as Dallas R. Hinrichs.
Hinrichs was exiting U.S. 52 on the southbound ramp to Salem Road, also known as Olmsted County Road 22, near Apache Mall, about 1:15 p.m. when the car left the roadway and rolled, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Hinrichs had worked 34 years at the Mayo Clinic as a clinical chemist. His funeral will be Saturday in Claremont, S.D. An obituary appears on Page B2 today.
