AUSTIN -- The funeral for Vivian G. Anderson will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin, with the Rev. Russell Wangen officiating. Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Fairview Cemetery in Oakland, Minn.
Mrs. Anderson, 88, of Austin, died Saturday (Aug. 10, 2002) at her home.
Vivian G. Lerum was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Moscow Township, Freeborn County, and grew up there. In 1933, she married Milfred E. Johnson. They were later divorced. She married Irving A. Anderson Sept. 25, 1958. He died in 1993. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church, St. Olaf Mission Circle, Ramsey Bridge Club, YWCA and Senior Citizen Center.
Survivors include four daughters from her first marriage, Sharon (Kenneth) Anderson of Blooming Prairie, Gail (Ray) Schmidt and Cyrene (Jack) Berthiaume, both of Austin, and Jeanine (Jerry) White of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Nelson of Blooming Prairie; and a brother, Thomas (Marian) Lerum of Austin. A daughter and three brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin and an hour before the service Wednesday at the church.
