WASECA — Rochester Lourdes earned a 3-1 non-conference victory at Waseca on Tuesday to improve to 2-0 so far this season.
Gabby Williams had 16 kills and Katelyn Younger made 32 assists and eight ace serves to lead the Eagles.
"We were able to improve on some things tonight that we struggled with in our first match," said Lourdes coach Ryan Friedhoff.
"Overall we are still missing too many serves, but we did a better job of serve receive tonight. This allowed us to run more quick sets tonight. Katelyn did an excellent job of connecting with all of our hitters."
Lourdes returns to action next Tuesday when it opens its Hiawatha Valley League schedule against Cannon Falls.
