Rochester-based Hands for Humanity needs volunteers for its next medical humanitarian effort in Ecuador.
According to executive director Kate Welp, the trip will be from Feb. 21 to March 3. The team will offer pediatric orthopedic exams and surgeries.
"I need nurses and scrub nurses," Welp said.
Volunteers pay their own travel expenses to Ecuador, a country where 70 percent of the population is impoverished.
