Wabasso eliminates Wabasha-Kellogg

CHASKA — Wabasso pushed across a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to edge Wabasha-Kellogg in a Class A state quarterfinal game today.

The loss puts W-K in a 5:30 p.m. consolation game against B-E-S-T.

W-K had a 3-0 lead but Wabasso tied it with three runs in the bottom of the third. W-K then scored three in the fourth but Wabasso tied it again with three in the bottom of the fifth.

First baseman Trevor Glomski hit a three-run double in the fourth.

W-K is 19-5.
