Wallace Adelbert Greene -- Dodge Center

DODGE CENTER -- The joint funeral service for Wallace Adelbert Greene and his wife, Millicent Mary Greene, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Praise Fellowship Church in Dodge Center. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja.

Mr. Greene, 91, a longtime resident of Dodge Center, died Saturday (Aug. 12, 2006), following an auto accident. His wife also died in the accident.

He was born Jan. 15, 1915, in New Auburn, Wis. In 1925, the family moved to Arkansas. They had a portable sawmill and would log out the land that needed clearing. In March 1932, they moved to Dodge Center. He married Millicent Payne on Jan. 4, 1936, in Dodge Center. He was a charter member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Committee in Faribault, Minn.

Survivors include a daughter, Lorna Zincke of Dodge Center; four sons, Phil (Diann), Steve (Linda) and Dan (Marjo), all of Dodge Center, and Ken (Dori) of Wasioja; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clare of Dodge Center. He was preceded in death by a stepbrother.

Reviewal will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, and an hour before the service Friday at the church.
