Post-Bulletin, Rochester MN
DFL Congressman Tim Walz and former Vice President Walter Mondale will headline a get-out-the-vote tour of southern Minnesota today, including an afternoon stop in Austin.
The two will travel to Mankato, Owatonna, Austin, Dodge Center, Stewartville and Rochester, where they will visit with campaign volunteers and stop at stores to meet with local residents.
The stops include:
- The Kitchen, 329 N. Cedar Ave., Owatonna, at 11:30 a.m.
- DFL Office/Labor Center, 316 N.E. 4th Ave., Austin. Walz and Mondale will meet with campaign volunteers at 1:30 p.m. Door-knocking begins at 2 p.m.
- Finne’s Family Restaurant, 30 W. Main St., 30 W Main St., Dodge Center, at 3:15 p.m.
- Tarsilla’s Coffee House & Cafe, 112 N. Main St., Stewartville., at 4:15 p.m.
- Masonic Temple, 2002 2nd St. S.W., Rochester, at 6 p.m.
