WATERLOO, Iowa -- The Rochester Honkers got just what they needed to stop a five-game losing streak: Good pitching.

Nathan Hochgesang pitched eight solid innings Friday giving up one run on five hits while striking out three and walking three, as the Honkers beat Waterloo 4-1.

The win snapped a four-game losing skid for the Honkers. Rochester starts a two-game series in Brainerd tonight.

Jeff Corsaletti and Dean Boyer both had two-hit games for the Honkers. Ben Thomas was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.
