Rain is moving in today as a low pressure system approaches from the southwest.

There is also a possibility for isolated thunderstorms this afternoon.

Despite thick cloud cover and periods of rain, temperatures will boost into the low 60s.

This will be thanks to a gusty wind out of the southwest around 10-20 mph with gusts nearing 30 mph which will be blowing in the warmer air!

Showers gradually come to an end on Thursday with a few peeks of sun.

Sunshine will help temperatures warm into the upper 60s and low 70s across the region.

Friday looks dry as high pressure slides in, and a partly to mostly sunny sky will prevail.

Another round of showers develops Saturday afternoon and ends by Sunday morning.

Not a washout of a weekend by any means.
