Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to low 90s today with lots of sunshine and southerly wind. That southerly wind continues to bring the heat - and humidity - along with it.
The warmest day will be Thursday as highs are around the 90 degree mark. By late Thursday afternoon and evening, there is a chance for thunderstorms as a cold front approaches the area.
Some of the showers and thunderstorms will linger into part of Friday. The cold front sticks around for a couple of days bringing a few chances of thunderstorms into the weekend.
Saturday looks to be the best chance for more widespread rain and storms but there is a chance of storms on Sunday as well.
The cold front and rain will bring slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend with highs ranging from the mid 70s to lower 80s.
