Now that storms have mostly moved out of the area, we are in for a partly to mostly cloudy afternoon.
To start the week, we will not be spared from the heat or wind. Temperatures this afternoon will soar into the 90s and wind will be out of the southeast gusting near the 30 mph mark at times. Dew points will be nearing the 70s making it feel quite sticky.
In fact, it will feel muggy and sticky for several days with high temperatures in the upper 80s and dew points in the lower 70s.
The unsettled pattern will also continue with chances of thunderstorms on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Drier and less humid conditions are expected for the 4th of July weekend!
