- Rochester Honkers vs. La Crosse (Thursday, 7:05 p.m., Mayo Field): The Honkers look to close the gap atop the North Division standings between them and division-leading Mankato when they face the Loggers, in second place in the South Division. The teams also meet Friday at La Crosse.
LEGION BASEBALL
- Rochester Redhawks vs. Rochester A’s (Today, 7 p.m., Mayo Field): A rivalry spills over from the high school season into Legion ball when these two Rochester teams meet.
- Rochester Patriots at Owatonna (Thursday, 5 p.m.): A sort-of rematch of the Section 1AAA high school championship, as the Patriots, made up of players from John Marshall, face Owatonna.

U.S. Women’s Open (Thursday-Sunday): Interlachen Country Club plays host to the best women’s golfers in the world. It will be the final U.S. Open for three-time Open champ Annika Sorenstam, who announced last month she will retire at the end of this season.
