The strike zone didn't affect either series, but it calls into question whether Major League Baseball is doing enough to establish a standard zone that doesn't change from game to game and series to series.
A suggestion for baseball: Shorten the season to 140 games. Either that or drop one round of playoffs.
Postseason action goes on far too long. Cutting 22 games from the regular season isn't going to harm the product on the field. Baseball's integrity was lost a few years back when the abomination of a wildcard entered the game.
