Why no coverage of ‘March for Life’?

We are part of The Trust Project.

Shame, shame on you! I didn’t see anything in your paper about the "March for Life," which took place in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 22, two days after the inauguration of President Obama. Was this unworthy of news coverage?

There were almost 300,000 young pro-life people, of various religions, from all over the U.S., giving testimony in support of the rights of babies who are unable to speak for themselves due to loss of life through the evil act of abortion.

President Obama said in his magnificent speech that all human beings have the right to live a respectful life. Does that not include babies? I can’t believe that abortion activists can turn a deaf ear to the pro-life cause. Do the people know that our new president is about to sign, or has already signed, a Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA)?

Do they know what this means? It means taxpayers will pay for abortions; states will allow partial-birth and late-term abortions. It will bar laws protecting the rights of conscientious objectors, including physicians and hospitals. FOCA also will deny parents involvement in a daughter’s abortion decision.

The last words of President Obama’s oath was "so help me God." I think he and the rest of us will need God’s help.
