William T. Bolster #x2013;; Kasson

KASSON -- A memorial service for William T. Bolster, 65, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kasson. The Rev. John Weisenburger will officiate and burial will be in Energreen Cemetery in Mantorville.

Mr. Bolster of Kasson died Wednesday (June 25, 2003) of natural causes at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester where he had been a patient for one hour.

He was born June 17, 1938, in Cook, Minn., and grew up in the Chatfield area.

On June 4, 1960, he married LaVonne I. Knutson in Fountain and they lived in various places in southeastern Minnesota before moving to Kasson in 1998. She died in August of 2002.

He was a drywall taper and enjoyed the outdoors.


Survivors include a daughter, Jeanine Dunkle of Kasson; two sons, Joseph T. of Claremont and John W. of Dodge Center; five grandchildren; a brother, Jim (Mary) of Yucatan, Minn.; two sisters, Irene Larrabee of Superior, Wis., and Marge Snell of Cook. He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at the church for an hour prior to the service.

Memorials are suggested to the church.

Dibble Funeral Home in Kasson is in charge of arrangements.
