Winona-area garage destroyed by fire

WINONA — Fire destroyed a garage in a rural area between Winona and Wilson on Thursday.

No one was hurt in the fire at the garage at 23801 East Burns Valley Road, Winona County chief deputy Ron Ganrude said. The Wilson Fire Department put out the fire, which occurred about 11:30 a.m., he said.

East Burns Valley Road, also known as Winona County Road 105, runs roughly southwest from the city of Winona and intersects with Winona County 12 about half a mile east of Wilson.
