WINONA -- Free screening for depression will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at Parkview Office Building, Suite 114, 825 Mankato Ave., Winona.
The screening is being offered by Winona Health Psychiatric &; Counseling Services, a part of the Winona Health system.
Some symptoms of depression are a prolonged feeling of sadness, a feeling of hopelessness, loss of energy and changes in sleep and appetite.
No appointment is needed; the screening takes about 30 minutes.
