Rochester police are investigating an alleged assault late Friday in the 1200 block of Eastgate Drive Southeast.
Capt. Brian Winters said a man apparently assaulted a woman. The man returned to a vehicle and was followed by a witness. The witness confronted the man, who brandished what appeared to be a handgun and drove away.
