LINDSTROM, Minn. -- The bodies of a 77-year-old man and his elderly mother were found inside their home after a relative called police to check on them.
The son apparently died first, and his 95-year-old mother died shortly afterward when she couldn't take care of herself, police said.
No foul play was suspected.
The bodies were found Thursday night after a woman in California called authorities to check on her aunt.
Lindstrom is in Chisago County, just northeast of the Twin Cities.
