A workshop on how to do prescribed burns to rejuvenate grasslands will be from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Department of Natural Resources building, 2300 Silver Creek Road N.E. in Rochester.
The Prairie Smoke Chapter of The Prairie Enthusiasts is offering the free workshop. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged so materials can be prepared.
