YOUR STYLE - FASHION PATIENCE OWAN

p Q: What's your style for going out on the town?

A: Sophisticated. I like to dress up, because I usually feel that you never have a second chance to make a first impression, so I like to be sophisticated and tasteful.

Q: What's your favorite season to dress for?

A: Fall. I love the colors. They're wonderful. You have yellow, gold, orange, and those are my colors. Those colors really bring out my complexion. The gray, black kind of stuff, it doesn't suit me, that's why fall is really good for me.

Q: How do you stay in shape?

A: I work out. I walk on the treadmill at least 30-45 minutes three times a week, because my husband is an exercise buff. He would do the treadmill every day; I can't, so he told me to do three times a week, that I'll feel better. Sometimes on Saturday in the morning if he's not working and I'm not on call, we work out together. But most of the time I do it after work.

Q: Where do you shop?

A: A whole lot of places. Most of the time I go to the Twin Cities. There are nice shops there; they have Saks, they have outlet malls and I have found good buys in T.J. Maxx.

Q: What are your shopping challenges?

A: Actually I don't have too many of those; I always get what I want. (Laughs.)

Q: What cosmetics brands do you use?

A: Mary Kay. I've been with them for 12 years. They just have the products that suit me; I have found what I wanted. You always find a Mary Kay lady working somewhere. There's one in my building, so I just call her and give her a list of what I want.

Q: Anything else?

A: It was very thoughtful that somebody nominated me for this.
