Youth soccer teams to host Colombians Sunday

Post-Bulletin, Rochester MN

The Rochester Youth Soccer Association will experience an international flair this weekend as seven of the RYSA’s teams face Colombian opposition in friendly matches on Sunday.

This will be the fourth time in the last five years that RYSA players have had this opportunity. In addition, this year marks the first time that a girls’ team from Colombia has participated.

The matches will be played at the Fuad Mansour and Watson soccer complexes at 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.

The Colombian teams are in the state for the USA Cup, to be held in the Twin Cities next week. They are using these friendly matches against Rochester teams as a warm-up.
