ROCHESTER -- A private memorial service for Zahra Minoo Gharib will be at noon Friday at the mosque in Rochester. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Gharib, 56, of 1123 Oakland Court S.W., died Wednesday (Feb. 2, 2005) at her home.
Zahra Minoo Jalili was born Feb. 4, 1948, in Yazd, Iran. She married Dr. Hossein Gharib in 1976 in Teheran, Iran, and they moved to Rochester in 1979. Mrs. Gharib held a degree in Persian literature.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Mohammed, Yasamin and Mahmood; her mother, Fatemah Ezzat Jalil; and two sisters, Maryam Faranejad of Teheran and Mahvash Amjami of Boca Raton, Fla. Her father preceded her in death.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Hall in the Kahler Hotel.
