Twelve Minnesota animal rescue groups will be showing off dozens of dogs and cats during the Super Adoption Event Saturday at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds in Rochester.
It will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Graham Arena.
The Rescue Animal Coalition of Southeast Minnesota is sponsoring the event for the third year to raise public awareness about the problem of homeless animals in Minnesota and throughout the nation.
In addition to the animals up for adoption, there will be product vendors, veterinarians, animal activists, demonstrations and food.
Camp Companion, of Rochester; Andrea's Angels Rescue, of Northfield; One of a Kind Pet Rescue, of Kenyon; and the Steele County Humane Society are among the 12 southeastern Minnesota organizations involved in the event.
