Thirteen motorists were arrested for driving while impaired after apparently celebrating too much on St. Patrick's Day.
Detective Dave Rikhus said the arrests were made by officers during a special NightCap DWI enforcement effort Wednesday night. In all, 10 officers from Rochester, Olmsted County, the state patrol and Dodge County participated in the special effort to keep drunken drivers off the road.
Another special enforcement is scheduled for Friday night.
