BYRON — A Northstar Cash lottery ticket sold in Byron won the $27,000 jackpot Sunday, officials from the Minnesota Lottery said Monday.
The winning ticket was sold at Byron Market Place, at 863 High Point Drive NE.
The winning Northstar Cash numbers were 3-8-16-23-28.
Lottery players have won more than $6.3 billion. About $2.5 billion in proceeds have helped preserve, restore and protect Minnesota's environment in each of Minnesota's 87 counties. Lottery proceeds also help fund state programs including education, public safety, health and human services.
