PINE CITY — Sheriff's officials say four people have died and a fifth person was seriously injured in a collision between a pickup and a semi in eastern Minnesota.
The Pine County Sheriff's Department says those killed include two men, ages 58 and 21, a 20-year-old woman and 17-year-old girl. A 21-year-old man was injured. They have not yet been identified.
Authorities say the crash happened about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at an intersection near Askov when the pickup turned into the path of the semi. The 50-year-old male driver of the semi was not hurt.
