A Brooklyn Park woman who allegedly traveled to Rochester to work as a prostitute was robbed at knifepoint Friday afternoon, police said.
The 19-year-old told officers she had arranged to meet a man in a hotel room in downtown Rochester. When the man arrived, the report says, he pulled out a knife, told the woman to strip, then robbed her of her phone and some of the contents of her purse.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5 feet, 7 inches and weighing 145 pounds.
The incident was reported about 3:30 p.m.
