Alma man killed in head-on crash

READS LANDING — An Alma, Wis. man was killed Wednesday afternoon when the pickup he was driving collided head-on with a semi-tractor trailer.

The State Patrol identified him as Patrick L. Noll, 60. The driver of the semi was Matthew W. Hartwig, 36, of Cannon Falls.

The patrol said Noll was driving south on U.S. 61 and Hartwig was traveling north when they collided.

The crash was reported at 3:04 p.m.
