Three boy scouts from Troop 112 have earned the Eagle Rank, the highest in Boy Scouts of America.
David Erdahl, son of Alan and Sandy Erdahl, has been a patrol leader and quartermaster. For his eagle project, he led a project to construct and place wood duck houses at the Jay C. Hormel Nature Center.
He is a senior at Austin High School, where he is president of the Austin chapter of Future Farmers of America, and is involved in National Honor Society, Link Crew and hockey.
Jerome Green, son of Peter and Kathy Green, has been an assistant patrol leader, patrol leader, senior patrol leader and historian. His eagle project was planting trees for the tornado recovery at Todd Park.
He is a senior at Austin High School where he is on the student council, Knowledge Bowl, Youth Leadership, Student Union and plays soccer and basketball.
