Curves held its 12th annual food drive in March and collected 1,379 pounds of non-perishable food for the Salvation Army food shelf.
There were three teams. Each team member received a shamrock to count for their team for each 10 pounds of food donated. Also, the members received shamrocks for answering trivia questions and could steal a shamrock from another team if they came three times a week to exercise and if they lost weight during the contest.
Rachelle Root's team won washable, insulated shopping bags.
