AUSTIN — The Austin High School's Music Department will present its annual Holiday Concert at 7 p.m. Monday in Knowlton Auditorium at the high school.
Band, orchestra and choir students will present both traditional and contemporary holiday music. Students also will offer a prelude at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby.
The concert will feature many familiar pieces, such as the band playing "O Holy Night" and orchestra students performing "White Christmas." The concert also will include the longstanding traditional finale with the singing of "The Hallelujah Chorus" and "Silent Night."
Tickets for the concert will be available at the door; AHS Activity Passes and Music Boosters of Austin Membership Passes also will be honored.
