MABEL — The man who was killed Thursday when he was pinned between a logging trailer and a large truck in rural Mabel has been identified as Yost J. Hershberger, 23, of Decorah, Iowa.
Fillmore County Sheriff Tom Kaase said the accident was reported at 12:31 p.m. that day. When a deputy and the Mabel Ambulance Service arrived, they determined Herschberger was dead.
