Benefit planned for Preston man

WYKOFF — A benefit will be held today for Chuck Stackhouse, a Preston man who was injured while doing maintenance on a snowmobile trail near Wykoff on Dec. 3.

Chili will be served from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the pavilion in Forestville/Mystery Cave State Park.

All day long, a fun run for both snowmobiles and cars will be held. Trail stickers will be sold at S&S Bait Shop and True Value Hardware, both in Spring Valley.

At 5 p.m., there will be a dinner with door prizes at the Wykoff Community Center. Dinner will be followed by a silent auction at 7 p.m. and a DJ and dance will follow.

Snowmobiles trailers can be parked at Kingsland Middle School.
