BLOOMING PRAIRIE — A 35-year-old Rochester man was arrested early Saturday morning by Blooming Prairie Police officers shortly after he allegedly robbed a Casey's General Store at gun point.
The police recovered a small amount of cash the man allegedly took from the Blooming Prairie store. He is awaiting charges in the Steele County Detention Center in Owatonna.
The robbery happened at about 4 a.m. Saturday.
As of Saturday afternoon, it was unknown whether anybody was hurt or there was any damage to the store, as the Steele County dispatch center had no further information.
The Dodge County and Steele County sheriff's offices assisted in the incident.
