The string of rural burglaries has been extended after thieves broke into a golf course and stole two safes.
Employees at Maple Valley Golf Course, 8600 Maple Valley Road SE, called law enforcement about 6:40 a.m. Friday.
According to the report, sometime between 9 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Friday, forced entry was made into the clubhouse. Two safes were taken, said Capt. Scott Behrns, resulting in a loss of $2,800.
There are no suspects.
